Printer driver uninstall

  1. Search for and open "Apps & Features"
  2. Search in the list of installed programs for you printers driver and uninstall it

  1. Search for and open "Control Panel".
  2. Go to "Hardware and Sound" and to "Devices and Printers".
  3. Right click your printer.
  4. Select "Remove device".
  5. Select Uninstall.

  1. Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
  2. Type "printui.exe /s" and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
  3. Click on the "Drivers" tab.
  4. Look for your devices driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom .
  5. Select Ok.
  6. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
  7. Close Devices and Printers.

Troubleshooting

If at any point of the procedure issues arise, it is a good idea to restart the spooler service by opening powershell or cmd (Windows Key + R -> cmd) and typing :

net stop spooler
net start spooler
