Printer driver uninstall
- Search for and open "Apps & Features"
- Search in the list of installed programs for you printers driver and uninstall it
- Search for and open "Control Panel".
- Go to "Hardware and Sound" and to "Devices and Printers".
- Right click your printer.
- Select "Remove device".
- Select Uninstall.
- Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
- Type "printui.exe /s" and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
- Click on the "Drivers" tab.
- Look for your devices driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom .
- Select Ok.
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
Troubleshooting
If at any point of the procedure issues arise, it is a good idea to restart the spooler service by opening powershell or cmd (Windows Key + R -> cmd) and typing :
net stop spooler
net start spooler
